All you need is to obtain a corporate Payment Account. Visit one of our network branches and our representatives will inform you about all the possibilities and advantages of our service.

For opening a corporate PA, the required Legal Documents that you will need to provide us depending on the type of your business include:

Public limited companies (SA)

  1. Articles of Association or any amended Articles of Association (if the Articles of Association have been amended then we will also need the following: Recent Certificate of the Chamber of Commerce regarding the amendments – changes to the Articles of Association)
  2. Certificate of valid representation of the General Register of Companies (recent date)
  3. Financial data for the company (Form E3)
  4. Income Tax Return for Legal Persons and Legal Entities
  5. A recent certificate of no bankruptcy of the company and its partners, no liquidation, no receivership, no forced administration, no bankruptcy arrangement, no cessation of operations, no suspension of payments or other similar status from the competent Court of First Instance
  6. Copy of the Minutes of the Board of Directors (if there is a change in the composition of the Board of Directors, the decision from which the change results must be submitted)
  7. Minutes of the General Meeting (if the member has been replaced by the Board of Directors)
  8. A recent statement, signed by the legal representative of the company, indicating whether or not the company is listed on the Greek stock exchange or on a stock exchange of another country
  9. A recently dated statement, signed by the company’s legal representative, indicating the names or surnames of the company’s shareholders, the shares held by each shareholder and the exact percentage of the share capital held by each shareholder on the date of submission of the company’s legal documents, otherwise an exact copy, dated recently, from the company’s Register of Shareholders
  10. A recent declaration by the company’s legal representative of the natural person(s) – beneficial owner(s) of the company’s shares, i.e. indicating the natural person(s) who ultimately owns or controls the company through the ownership or control, directly or indirectly, of a significant percentage of the shares or voting rights or other ownership rights of the company, including through bearer shares or through control by other means
  11. Certificate of the legal solvency of the company, not being subject to bankruptcy proceedings, suspension of operations, suspension of payments or other similar status, not being in liquidation, not being in receivership or other similar status

Limited Liability Companies (LLC)

  1. Articles of Association or any amended Articles of Association (if the Articles of Association have been amended then we will also need the following: Recent Certificate of the Chamber of Commerce regarding the amendments – changes to the Articles of Association)

  3. In any case, you must also provide the documents of the legal representative (or the company’s manager):

  2. Recent utility bill
  3. Last Income Statement or other document certifying the income
  4. Phone bill (mobile or home phone)
  5. Certificate of A.M.K.A. (Soc. Sec. No.)
  6. Provisional Information from the TAXIS website

Freelance Professionals

  1. Valid national identity card or passport

  4. Last Income Statement or other document certifying their income
  5. Register data from TAXIS where the business activity is shown
  6. Certificate of commencement of business
  7. Statement of financial data from business activity (E3)
  8. Recent TIN
  9. Certificate of insurance information

If a manager has been appointed then additional documents are submitted by the legal representative, which differ depending on the form of each company. Specifically:

For Public Limited Companies (SA)

  • Notice of representation of the company in the GEMI
  • Government Gazette of incorporation/amendments
  • Minutes of the Board of Directors signed by the members of the Board of Directors, for the granting of special power of attorney to the third party for the special management operations listed, registered in the General Register of Companies
  • Certificate of Changes
  • Certificate of amendments from GEMI

For Limited Liability Companies (LLCs)

  • Resolution of the partners’ meeting published and registered with the General Register of Companies (appointing a manager, who may be a partner or a third person and for which acts in particular, or the articles of association of the company appointing the manager and for which acts)
  • Certificate of Changes
  • Certificate of amendments from GEMI

For Private Equity Companies (PE)

  • Articles of Association (from which the appointment is derived)
  • Special notarized power of attorney to the third party for the execution of certain instructions for the performance of management acts (this should be provided for in the company’s articles of association)
  • Certificate of changes from the Court of First Instance
  • Certificate of amendments from GEMI

For a General Partnership

  • Articles of Association (from which the appointment is derived)
  • Special notarized power of attorney to the third party for the execution of certain instructions for the performance of management acts (this should be provided for in the company’s articles of association)
  • Certificate of changes from the Court of First Instance
  • Certificate of amendments from GEMI

For a Limited Partnership

  • Articles of Association (from which the appointment is derived)
  • Special notarized power of attorney to the third party for the execution of certain instructions for the performance of management acts (this should be provided for in the company’s articles of association)
  • Certificate of changes from the Court of First Instance
  • Certificate of amendments from GEMI

In addition, the legal representative of each company submits to the Foundation a solemn declaration stating that the legal documents submitted are valid, that they have not been modified, and that they declare and undertakes to inform the company / foundation immediately of any change in the legal status of the company, its representation, and the termination / revocation of the manager / power of attorney to him/her for the said management operations that he/she will have undertaken.
